The staff were amazingly kind, favourable location close to downtown. And it was also adjacent to a 5 minute drive to hike, public transport and the university campus.
The setting was not great.

The breakfast offer was great for the USA! The lobby has a cosy sitting area with fireplace. There is a large heated outdoor pool and a smaller, even warmer indoor pool. Top!

Comfortable room, with a nice selection of breakfast options including fresh berries and organic maple syrup. The complimentary wi-fi and free parking made it easy to explore the area.

Very good breakfast that is included. Great to have a Keurig coffee machine in the room. The bed was quite comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful and gracious. We had a problem with the shower head and they immediately fixed it with no inconvenience to us. But again - the staff was friendly and helpful - they really practice that the guest is number one.
More places to hang your towels. Maybe better (brighter) lighting in the room. A fitness center would be nice.

This hotel does not nickle and dime you with extra charges. There are no extra charges for parking, wireless internet, and breakfast. Quality of towels was especially nice.
I didn't like being told that, despite having a reservation on Booked.net for a room with two beds, that it would cost me an extra $10/night for such a room. The carpeting in the room was tired. They needed more hooks for towels and clothes in the sink area and the bathroom.

It was just an optimal selection for a relaxing holiday in Boulder with very nice value for money. The hotel staff understood my room issue and were quick to offer solutions. Find parking early to avoid the hassle.

Breakfast was good, various cereals, egg, bacon, sausages and of course waffles and pancakes and lots of fresh fruit. Location was good, restaurants and supermarket across the street. Good for a short stay.
The beds were worn out and therefore very uncomfortable.

There wasn't just one thing that I liked best. I attended a seminar there and they had a room available early when I inquired during a break. It was comforting to know my room was really nice way before I was finished with the seminar and was able to unload my car. Another great thing was how comfortable the bed was; I slept like a rock!!! That's hard to do when you aren't in your own bed. I really enjoyed having access to the hgtv station. Yes, it's petty; but most hotels don't bother to provide that station anymore. It's another nice homey touch for me. The bacon was my favorite part of breakfast, thanks for the wide variety of food. I was a teeny bit leery of taking a ground floor room but felt safe when I realized there was an outside light out my sliding glass door. Oh, I almost forgot; the towels and bathmats were sooo soft!! So, overall, it was a great place to stay. Everything was clean, the service was outstanding, and the location is convenient as we could walk to restaurants for lunch. So, there was no way to mention just one favorite. I appreciated all the attention to detail. Thanks!

They had bikes people could borrow for the day.
It was "tired" looking. Could use a little spruce up of carpet and fixtures. The hallway outside the smoking rooms smelled very smokey and effected the smell in the lobby and the rooms near there.

should offer tea in the rooms in addition to coffee

The best thing about our stay were the facilities provided - guest laundry, pool, spa, and free bike hire.
The hotel offered free bike hire for its guests, but only had about 6 bikes to offer. We were unable to hire bikes the first day we were there as they had all been taken out. I think that they should increase the number of hire bikes they have available, so as not to create the situation where they're offering a service but can't actually supply it.
